INDONESIA[and non]. 7289.93, RRI Nabire Pro 1, tuned-in at 0827 till suddenly off at 0958* UT, Sept 25.
Playing mostly EZL songs, with a few Middle Eastern/Islamic influenced music/singing.

This coming DX season, listeners in the States who are East of my location, will probably have a chance
at some decent reception. The most easily identified feature is the Islamic segment. Today with Shalawat
Tarhim prayer (0850-0857) and the Maghrib (sunset) call-to-prayer (0857-0900). Today with a good signal,
but moderate QRN (static).

[non] 7780, Voice of Indonesia (Channel Two) via WRMI (USA), 0810-0825 UT, Sept 25 (Wednesday); TV audio
streaming; fair. Here are a few highlights:

0817: Promo for responsible Bali tourism. My audio - https://app.box.com/s/2zake3zxvoj7ubs5sho6geb54wqxg1rn .

0820+: News items - https://en.tempo.co/read/1920622/jokowi-says-ikn-airport-construction-will-conclude-in-december-2024 :
"President Joko Widodo or Jokowi said the IKN Airport’s construction in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN), East
Kalimantan, will be completed by the end of this year.

'By the end of December, the construction for both the terminal and the runway, which stretched 3,000 meters long,
will be completed, allowing wide-bodied aircraft to land at IKN,' said President Jokowi during the groundbreaking
of Teras Hutan Kota by Plataran on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, as quoted from the Presidential Secretariat. . . ,"
followed by an item about Malaysia will have flights to the new airport, to encourage travel between the two counties.

Re: Malaysia - Miri FM (11665 kHz.) broadcasting in Kenyah language - Ron Howard Oct 23 (Wed), 2024 11:45 UTC No.5637
Malaysia - Miri FM (11665 kHz.) broadcasting in Kenyah language

- - - - - - Posted to WORiog:

Hi Zach - Thank you so much for pointing out the interesting Miri FM programming you heard back in April!
On Oct 23, checking from tune-in at 0932 till 1000 UT, on 11665 kHz., via the remote SDR at Talsay City,
Philippines; heard Miri FMin scheduled Kenyah language (a group of languages spoken in Sarawak, Malaysia,
and Kalimantan, Indonesia, that share a common ancestor, Proto-Kenyah); after years of listening to Wai FM,
today was certainly unique; DJ playing pop songs; decent reception, but some adjacent QRM. At 1000, switched
to Wai FM programs in scheduled Iban language, and suddenly with frequent Wai FM IDs.

https://philipdxinglog.blogspot.com/2023/12/waifm-sw11665kHz-MYTV710-AstroCH871-schedule.html :

0630-0900 hours: Wai FM Iban (Pengerak Pagi)

0900-1200 hours: Wai FM Iban (Wai 9-12)

1200-1500 hours: Radio Tau Lun Bawang (Limbang FM)

1500-1700 hours: Radio Kayan Miri FM (Peji Dahin Kelo') [0700-0900 UT]

1700-1800 hours: Talidio Kenyah Miri FM (Pemung Kejaie) [0900-1000 UT/6:00-7:00 PM JST]

1800-2100 hours: Wai FM Iban (Sada Lemai)

2100-2205 hours: Wai FM Iban (Pemerindang Malam)

"Wai FM on SW 11665kHz, MYTV CH710 and Astro CH871 is hybrid broadcast as it relays Lun Bawang program
from Limbang FM, Kayan program from Miri FM and Kenyah program from Miri FM, despite its majority hours are
in Iban, relay from Kuching. It does not air in Iban 24 hours a day like FM 101.3MHz in Kuching."

National Unity Radio (7200) with new English lesson

KOREA SOUTH[non]. Broadcasting from Taiwan.
National Unity Radio (7200 kHz.), 1233-1252 UT, Oct 30, via Oita, Japan remote SDR; today with N. Korea
pulsating jamming; they seem to have dropped the one minute of an English quotation and Korean explanation
of it (1238-1239); replaced with an interesting 20 minute English language lesson; played snippets of the pop
song by a-ha, titled "Take On Me" and explained in detail the meaning of all the words; 1247, played the whole
song. A unique lesson! My edited remote audio - https://app.box.com/s/itr20npj07xto8wjh7h5bohr1n608a9h .

Hi Ron-san
Thank you for the information.

Around 0730 UT, Radio Vanuatu was on the air.
According to Japanese BBS information, it was also broadcast at around 0932 UT (1832 JST).
https://akage555.bbs.fc2.com/?act=reply&tid=6453364 .

When did Radio Vanuatu go to no audio?

VANUATU. 7260, R. Vanuatu, 0725-0745 UT, 0625-0645pm VUT, 1625-1645 JST, March 28.
The signal was still weak at this time.

Just after 0730 UT, between songs, Radio Vanuatu SA and local time were announced: “half past 6”.

artist, 1879-1940) quotation in English: "A single day is enough to make us a little larger"; the usual intro
and exit theme music; light N. Korea jamming.

KOREA SOUTH. 3985 // 4885 // 5995 // 6250 // 6350 // 7720, Echo off Hope - VOH, 1210 UT, March 31; interesting
to noticemy West Coast reception on 7720 is significantly better than via any remote reception in Japan.

3480 // 3910 // 3930 // 4450 // 4560 // 6520 // 6600.0, Voice of the People, 1215 UT, March 31.

reception; another case of better reception at my local beach, than heard via any remote reception in Japan.
